DIRECT CLIENT ASSISTANCE provides service to those in need with utilities, food, clothing, hygiene, eye exams &amp; glasses, and prescription assistance. This program receives funding from Lubbock Area United Way, Covenant Health Systems, Lubbock Lions Club, South Plains Lions Club, and many generous individuals.&nbsp;
&nbsp;
The ELDERLY OUTREACH PROGRAM&nbsp;provides assistance with dental (e.g., dentures), prescriptions, hearing aids, and eyeglass services to individuals 60 years and older. Call to schedule an appointment, and we see most people that day. Lubbock Area United Way funds Elderly Outreach. &nbsp;
In order to be assisted, we need certain documents:

<li>Identification for all adults in the household.</li>
<li>Social Security Cards for everyone in the household</li>
<li>Proof of Income for the last 30 days. If you are working, this would include paycheck stubs from employer.</li>
<li>If not working and able to, please register with the Texas Workforce Solutions 1218 14th St., (806) 765-5038, and bring verification of enrollment.</li>
<li>If you are receiving child support, disability, SSI, unemployment, workman's compensation, housing assistance, or other government assistance, please bring award letters or verification of the benefits. &nbsp;&nbsp; Please contact us with any questions you have at info@cclubbock.org.</li>

<h3>The Family and Youth Success Program (FAYS) offers short-term services to children ages 0-17, and their families who are dealing with conflict at home, school attendance issues, delinquency, grief, mental health issues, or have a children who runs away from home. (PLEASE NOTE: FAYS services are not for youth who have been adjudicated delinquent by a juvenile court.)</h3>
<h3 style="text-align: left;">FAYS services are available in the following counties: Lubbock, Bailey, Baylor, Briscoe, Castro, Childress, Cochran, Cottle, Crosby, Dickens, Floyd, Foard, Garza, Hale, Hardeman, Haskell, Hockley, Kent, King, Knox, Lamb, Lynn, Motley, Parmer, Stonewall, Swisher, Terry, Throckmorton, Wilbarger, and Yoakum.</h3>
<h3>FREE parent and family skills training classes available on an on-going basis. Registration is required. Certificates of completion are issued once entire series has been completed.</h3>

The Parent Empowerment Program (PEP) is a program that assists those who are currently accepted or already enrolled in an educational program (for example, a vocational, certification or degreed program). PEP assists mostly low-income families, with at least one child under the age of 18. We can help low-income people who live in Lubbock even if they do not have children.&nbsp; (PLEASE NOTE:&nbsp; This program is NOT intended for graduate students or those applying to graduate school.)&nbsp;
Those accepted into the program can possibly be assisted with aid in tuition, books, uniforms, rent, childcare, utilities, and mileage reimbursement.&nbsp;

PLEASE NOTE:&nbsp; Once an application for the Parent Empowerment Program is submitted, our team will make up to THREE attempts to contact the applicant to continue the enrollment process. If we do not receive a response after these attempts, we will assume assistance is no longer needed and the application will be closed. Individuals will need to reapply if support is still needed.

Assists low-income parents and individuals further their education to break the cycle of poverty. 

The Parent Empowerment Program assists low-income individuals and families that are pursuing education and or training in order to transition out of poverty. Every purchase makes a difference -- all proceeds stay local and go directly to help support the programs of Catholic Charities of Lubbock, helping families and individuals in need right here on the South Plains.&nbsp;

Hours for the store (1505 34th Street) are:
Monday through Saturday 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.
